History Teachers’ Association of Ireland Annual Conference 2022

Holocaust Education Ireland was delighted to travel to the Mullingar Park Hotel to participate in the History Teachers’ Association of Ireland (HTAI) Annual Conference on 7-8 October 2022. It was the first HTAI Conference since the pandemic and we had the opportunity to meet with a number of brilliant teachers and explain our work. We were able to provide resources and information on our programmes.

We were also delighted to see that the latest edition of HTAI’s magazine ‘Stair’ included the winning essays in the Mary Elmes Prize in Holocaust Studies 2022, written by Orla O’Donovan and Johanna Schaffer. You can read these essays here.

We had a great response from the teachers attending the conference and were very encouraged by their enthusiastic support. We look forward to future HTAI events.
