In Memoriam - Vera Gissing

Holocaust Education Ireland was greatly saddened to learn of the death of Vera Gissing. Her story inspired hundreds of people learning about the Holocaust. We extend our deepest sympathy to Vera's family.

Rescued by ‘Britain’s Schindler’. Gissing escaped Czechoslovakia with sister Eva three months after Nazi occupation.
