Berlin Study Visit: 2 - 5 April 2024

HEI will be running our annual study visit to Berlin once again this year, from 2-5 April 2024!

This study visit provides participants with context for studying and teaching the Holocaust and offers an invaluable experiential learning opportunity. Participants will visit Jewish Berlin and a number of other Holocaust sites, including:

  • Bebelplatz, the site of the Nazi book burnings

  • The T4 Memorial to the victims of the T4 euthanasia programme

  • Memorial to the Roma and Sinti victims

  • Gleis 17 Memorial at Grunewald Station

  • Sachsenhausen concentration camp

  • The House of the Wannsee Conference

  • Topography of Terror museum

  • German Resistance Memorial Centre

This four-day trip comprises of guided tours, lectures, site visits and seminars. The total cost for the study visit is €695, which includes flights, accommodation, guided tours, lectures, and entrance fees. Payment plans can be arranged - please contact us for more information.
