The Holocaust Webinar: An Overview

We are excited to announce the next upcoming webinar dedicated to Holocaust education, which we are hosting on October 7th, 2025, in association with the Education Support Centres of Ireland. This webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the Holocaust, featuring insights from esteemed educators in the field. The webinar will commence at 7pm and conclude at approximately 8:30pm.

Director of Education for Holocaust Education Ireland Lynn Jackson and Caroline Morrissey of the Cork Education Training Board will outline the historical development of the Holocaust, offering participants a deeper understanding of this significant period of history and its events. Extensive guidance will be provided tailored specifically for teachers, equipping them with the tools and resources needed to effectively teach this critical subject in their classrooms. Participants will also receive complimentary resources to aid in their lesson planning on this subject.

This webinar aims to facilitate meaningful dialogue and reflection, empowering educators to engage their students with the seriousness and sensitivity that the subject demands. Whether you are a seasoned educator or new to teaching this subject, we invite you to join us for what promises to be an enlightening and valuable experience. By coming together to reflect, we can ensure that the lessons learned are shared with future generations, fostering a commitment to remembrance and awareness.
